A warm welcome to Whitcliffe Mount School.

I am delighted to welcome you to Whitcliffe Mount School. Our school ethos 'enjoy - achieve - celebrate' runs through everything we do. We are proud of our track record of ensuring our students enjoy their time at school and achieve highly, so that we can celebrate their successes.

This September we moved into our amazing new school building. It is true that the quality of a school depends on far more than just bricks and mortar but it is also important that a modern school building actively supports high quality teaching and learning and promotes a positive educational experience. Our new building, with its state of the art facilities and purpose-built layout, will certainly do that!

We actively encourage our students to develop teamwork, creativity, positive thinking, independence and reflective skills through our 'We Are Whitcliffe' skills and House Activity events. Alongside this we ensure our students are ready for the day, ready to learn and ready for the wider world of education and employment when they leave school.

I believe that Whitcliffe Mount provides the ideal environment for our students to reach their potential in all areas. We all expect high standards of achievement, behaviour, attendance, punctuality and appearance from our students, so that they can be the best they can be. Achievements are celebrated by rewarding hard work and positive attitudes towards learning and behaviour through house points, postcards, certificates, assemblies and awards events.
